You can install any of the app mentioned above in the post but strongly recommend you to use the “Google Indic Keyboard” I have also described about it in below with images.
Type in Hindi by Using Google Indic Keyboard
As I said earlier first you have to install this app in your smart phone then link is already given above or can download it from by clicking here.
Activate Google Indic Keyboard in Your Android Smart Phone
Now in some phone the app activate automatically while is few smart phone still you have to activate the Google Indic Keyboard app to activate it just follow the these instructions.
- Go to phone “Setting”
- Choose Language & Input option
- Click on the box for Google Hindi Input as shown in below image
If you done this now congratulations to you as you have complete the process now it is the time to type messages in Hindi on Whatsapp for this when you typing in an input box, long press in the box and select “Input method” in the popup menu, then select “Google Hindi Input”.
How to Type in Hindi on WhatsApp by Using Google Hindi Input Keyboard
Google Hindi Input have both the options you can use Hindi keyboard or use English keyboard (with transliteration tool).
Please Note: while you using transliteration tool then you have to type the word in English for the for hindi results for example if you have to type “भारत” then type “Bharat” and press space or you have to type “कैसे टाइप करे हिंदी में” then you have to type “kaise type kare hindi me”.
When typing in an input box, select ‘a>अ’ to toggle the transliteration mode on/off. If it is off, it will write in English otherwise Hindi. You can also type in Hindi by taping on the Hindi fonts by selecting the globe icon on the keyboard. Press & hold the globe icon to set the default input method.
